LYSS Presents: It’s First “ Suicide Awareness Prom Fundraiser and Honoring Lives Lost While Supporting Hope!!! Hope Has A Voice

This event will have live entertainment. Come out and cut a rug and help spread awareness as well in honoring the life of 14 year old Spirit Butler. Who lost her life through suicide from School and cyber bullying. #SpiritStrong together we stand against suicide !!!! Please come in and bless the dance floor for this occasion. Open bar and food provide. Ladies put on your beautiful gowns with a nice pair of sneakers. Fellas are ready to get nice and groomed up with your tuxedo??.. This is a public event. All is welcome !!! Come in the honors of someone that you may have known who lost their life or someone who may had overcome suicide. This event is to show that you matters and that you are not alone !... "This Life. This night. Your Story. Your hope.It matters. All of it matters."

The meaning to our logo:

Silhouette: Our Spirit whom departed from us in 2022.

Tree of Life: Interconnectedness of life, growth, and strength.

Leaves: Based on honor beads (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention)

White - loss of a child.
Red - loss of a spouse or partner.
Gold - loss of a parent.
Orange - loss of a sibling.
Purple - loss of a friend or relative.
Silver - loss of a first responder or military member.
Green - personal attempt or struggle.
Teal - supporting someone who struggles or has attempted.
Blue is for supporting the cause.
Rainbow - honoring the LGBTQ community.

Semi-Colon: a conscious choice to continue living despite struggles with mental illness, suicidal ideation, or self-harm (Project Semicolon was founded in 2013 by Amy Bleuel).
